Wayne McDaniel

Legal Assistant

Wayne is a graduate of Appalachian State University (1975) with a BSBA in Business Administration and Information Systems.  He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 1985 with an Executive MPH degree in Health Policy and Administration.  

Wayne has worked in Healthcare Information Systems both on the provider and vendor side for the tenure of his career.  He served as CIO for various hospitals from 1972 thru 2004.  He then consulted for major HIS companies as site Manager for major software installations and work-flow analysis and optimization until his retirement in 2017. 

Wayne has also raised his two daughters, Julia and Carly, since the untimely passing of their Mother when they were young.   

Currently, although in retirement mode, Wayne is working part-time with the law office to help carry the load with his daughter Julia and the legal staff.  He has three grandchildren and two grand-dogs and enjoys laid-back travel, particularly long-haul train trips.
